Not Bad for Two Rookies
My good friend Pat helped me put the stone on the fireplace Tuesday. Good thing he helped because we basically both worked non stop and set the last stone in place as the sun was setting. Neither of us had ever installed stone before but we were pleased with how it turned out. I still need to grout between the joints and glue the hearth stones in place but it is 95% complete.

Ooo! It looks really nice! I have a feeling I will spend many-a-night cuddled up next to that fireplace. Mom won't have the rule that it has to be off - will she?
