Drywallers finished Friday so the project is back in my hands.  No more sub contractors!  It is all up to me now to finish.

Jay, my son-in-law, came up with me Saturday to help do some painting.  Sunday I put in the floor in the basement bathroom and hung all the doors with the exception of the bi-folds.

Making lots of progress this week.  Drywallers will be finished hanging the board tomorrow (Sunday) and the guys that will mud and finish it will be starting Monday morning.

The guy doing the finish grading and seeding is doing a real nice job!

Busy Day

Normally when I drive up to the construction site I hope, as I turn onto our street, to see a truck in the driveway.  That means that someone is there working and we are making progress.  More times than not lately I turn to find no one there.

Not today!  As I turned the corner I had never seen so many vehicles!  Insulation contractor was there, truck delivering drywall and guys working on finish grading and seeding the yard.  It was nice to see so much happening.

Septic

Septic system is in.  It should be covered and back filled by now.  They were waiting for the County Health Inspector to show up and "approve" it today.  They need to keep parts of it uncovered so the inspector can verify certain aspects of it.
